Gds needs windows to run. But you should be able use the flasher that comes with
maxisyspro and a laptop for gds -

Hi I don't see why not it works fine with the ds 708 vers 8.10 and above I have ver 9.01 and it works really good just order a maxisys pro hopefully it will work as well lets see what tech support has to say about this one. -

Gds2 is gm WINDOWS based diagnostic software for use with mdi or compatible j2534
vci.It will not run on 708 or maxisys -

this is about gds2 vehicles not the software it self. the gds2 software yes is a pc base software for gds2 vehicles. well the maxisys does all these gds2 vehicles. I know cuz I paid 750 dollars a year to have gds2 and tech2win. the maxisys does both and pretty good too. -

gds2 vehicles line up. 2010 and above for usa .chevy equinox,pontiac torrent,chevy Camaro,cadillac srx. 2011to 2013 they added more vehicles, for a complete list check tis web under gds2. 2014 and up all gm vehicles are gds2 and can only be diagnose with gds2 software and the mdi. they may be other passthru vci capable of making connection with the gds2 software but not supported.
